Volunteer

Donating isn’t just about giving money. Volunteering means donating your most valuable resource – your time. Access Walk is looking for awesome volunteers for our event on Saturday, September 13, 2025. By giving your time, you’re showing support for everyone’s right to bodily autonomy. Your help will make sure our event is a healthy and sustainable success!

Which volunteer opportunity will you choose?

Along the Course

Start and Finish Line

Get ready to cheer! You'll be hyping up walkers as they start and finish their 1k laps. Your enthusiasm will keep them motivated.

Cheer Area

Positioned near the finish line, you'll ask walkers, "What lap are you on?" and encourage them to keep going or celebrate their achievements with applause.

Course Marshal

You'll be stationed at key points along the 1k course to direct the flow of walkers and ensure they stay on track. You'll also cheer them on and direct any injured walkers to the first aid tent, if needed.

Registration or Merchandise Tents

Registration/Information Tent

You'll be the first friendly faces our walkers see! Your job is to greet them, check them in, hand out t-shirts and other goodies, and guide them to where they need to be before the walk starts. You'll also give directions to restrooms, the first aid tent, and other important locations. If you're comfortable with computers, you can help people with same-day registrations too.

Merchandise Tent

If you love selling cool stuff, this is the spot for you! You'll be selling Access Walk merchandise, so you'll need to be comfy using a Point of Sale (POS) system and handling cash.

Beverage Garden

21+, MAST Certification required

Pouring beer might be part of your day, so if you've got some experience, that's awesome! But don't worry if you don't—we have a pro beer pourer to guide you. Just make sure you have your WA MAST certification.

WA MAST certification information found here.
