Seattle to DC
A nationwide, all-virtual movement supporting people forced to travel for abortion care.
Between now and September 14, 2025, we’re walking 14 miles—the symbolic distance from Idaho to the nearest abortion service provider—and raising $25 per mile to fund travel-related expenses like lodging, food, fuel, and childcare.
Our collective goal: cover 2,800 virtual miles (from Seattle to DC) and raise $70,000 in support of reproductive freedom.
Walk wherever and whenever you can. Build a team. Raise funds. Take steps for access.
Join Us for the Final Mile Celebration

Chateau Ste. Michelle | 3:30–6:30 PM
Get ready to walk the final mile together—and celebrate the movement we’re building.
On September 14, the Access Walk community will gather in person for an afternoon of music, connection, and purpose. Whether you’ve been walking from the start or just joined the journey, this event is a chance to honor the impact we’re making together.
2025 Grantee
We are excited to announce Planned Parenthood Great Northwest, Hawaiʻi, Alaska, Indiana, Kentucky (PPGNHAIK) as our 2025 grant recipient. The move reflects Access Walk’s shared mission with PPGNHAIK and its growing national momentum—what began as a small event in Seattle’s Volunteer Park has expanded into a movement with teams across the country.
Why We Walk
Access Walk: Seattle to DC is a nationwide, all-virtual movement rooted in one mission: to eliminate financial barriers to abortion care by supporting individuals who are forced to travel long distances to access services.
